AS Saint-Etienne takes provisional access to Ligue 1

The Greens provisionally back in second place
Saint-Etienne temporarily climbed to 2nd place in Ligue 2, synonymous with direct promotion to Ligue 1, thanks to its narrow 1-0 victory over US Concarneau Monday evening.
For 80 minutes, the Greens pushed hard, but the Concarnois defended well. Frustrated, the Stéphanois multiplied the faults and the approximate passes, failing to find the fault.
They finally found the opening thanks to the inevitable Jean-Philippe Krasso. Romain Hamouma, just entered the game, perfectly served the Ivorian striker in depth, who defeated Viot with a flat right at the entrance to the surface (80th).
The score did not change again, despite a last hot moment in the Saint-Etienne area. ASSE therefore temporarily takes 2nd place in Ligue 2, with three points behind leader Le Havre, who will play on Tuesday.
Wednesday, the Greens will go to Nîmes for their next match. A very important match since the Crocodiles (16th) are only six points behind ASSE and can still dream of playing the dams.
